The blade
Mr. Yamatsuka created the blade using Yasuki Silver-3 steel and is hand-ground by Mr. Hirotsugu Tosa.
The handle
Is created by Mr. Keido Suhihara. Ironwood is used for the handles of the master knife. The specific gravity of desert Ironwood is heavier than magnolia. This gives it a very beautiful brilliance and unique luster. It is know as the King of Wood because of these characteristics.
